Nancy Roll

I graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art 5 year BFA program with a major in metalsmithing, enameling and painting. Wakefield, MA has been my home for the past 15 years and I find it a beautiful area to live in. I am primarily a landscape painter and frequently paint outdoors. Breakheart Reservation, the Middlesex Fells, Lake Quannapowitt, the White Mountains, the North Shore marshes and coastline and Provincetown are some of my favorite subjects I divide my time between painting, enameling, jewelry making and teaching.

I have received several awards for my work including the Helen G. Perry Traveling Fellowship that allowed me to spend 6 months studying and traveling in Europe and a Massachusetts Artists Foundation Fellowship grant in Metals/Enameling.
