Lucia Jenkins

I am a self-trained artist who worked in dry media until the last 10 years when I began painting in oils. I am a lactation consultant by profession and a mother of 5 and grandmother of 14. I enjoy painting people interacting with their world, and slightly quirky subject matter. I have made volunteer medical relief trips to the Dominican Republic, whose residents often become the subject of my paintings. I paint regularly with members of the Malden sketch group.
